ESTABLISHING THE CHARLES ROWNEY
The Charles Rowney Scholarship Fund is being founded to support those who are seeking an education that bridges science, technology, and engineering in the support of sustainable water resources.
To establish a permanent fund under the Urban Watersheds Research Institute (a 501(c)3 charitable organization) to honor to work and memory of Charles Rowney, whose tireless efforts to support the Institute and advance technologies to enable scientists and engineers to better solve the challenges of sustainability in water resources worldwide.
UWRI is seeking both individual/family and corporate/company/organization donations. All donors will be recognized. Significant donors (Founder, Advocate, Supporter, Patron, and Sustaining Givers) will recognized on the scholarships fund’s website with name and/or company/organization logo and in news releases sent out by UWRI. Donors can request to remain anonymous.
Online donations and an opportunity to express thoughts on Charles’ passing can be made by clicking the donate button*.
*We collect only the name and email address of donors for documentation of charitable donations as needed. We do not retain payment information.
